Finally a book that gave me exactly what I needed in planning a trip to Antarctica. I've traveled to so many places in my life, but this one is NEXT on my radar!
Interesting reading, but not very long.
Good quick read, not a reference. Information is too general. [Don't know why requires me to use more words in this review when I have nothing else to say.]
I had no idea you could go skiing on the South Pole or dive in the Antarctic waters. It sounds like an amazing experience, although quite costly. Anyway, the book provided a pleasant escape from the daily routine. Recommended!
I’m not planning on visit Antarctica soon, since it’s so expensive, but at least I could read this book and dream about this trip. Perfect book for anybody who wants to live a great adventure.
